Ive
been in Arequipa for most of this week. I have been studying a lot of Spanish,
and taking it a bit easy. Yesterday I went to a picanteria which was an
interesting restaurant particular to Arequipa. Today I
am leaving for Colca Canyon, in a few minutes. Will be
staying overnight in Chivay, a town down at the bottom of the Canyon, and
returning tomorrow. I decided to stay here and squeeze another weeks worth of
lessons into Mon-Wed next week, then Wed night will go to Lima on a bus. I
think at that point I will fly to Iquitos on Thursday evening, which is the
Amazon Jungle. Still working out those plans, will keep you all updated.
