I returned to Iquitos from the Amazon jungle yesterday. I caught a piranha in the picture above and the swiss guy and I were making fun of how surprising it was for the gringos to catch one. I saw some pretty cool things and will write more about it later when I can find some internet that isnt so troublesome as here in the middle of the jungle. Today I went to a manitee refuge outside Iquitos and was able to feed the babies they are rehabilitating. Tomorrow I may go out to the butterfly farm an hour or two away, and Wednesday I fly to Lima. Im planning to go up to Huanchaco for a while for more Spanish classes and to learn to surf.
